Wasn't that a party!

(My apologies for the very short clip, brand new iphone and I had no idea what i was doing yet. :-) )

There is nothing quite so joyous than celebrating a special day with family and friends.

and this past weekend I was lucky enough to do just that. 

Yes, there are 50 candles on that cake, nearly 20 of which I have been with my beautiful husband, 

11 precious years in the company of my delightful son

and almost all of which I've spent with my family.

Along the way I've been so lucky to include many good friends, not all 

of whom were able to attend but I felt their love anyway.

all of that equals one smashing, love filled day, I am truly blessed.
